This version strips away the vibrant retro gradients of the original 1999 launch colorways, replacing them with a stealthy, monochromatic palette that leans heavily into modern utilitarian and gorpcore aesthetics.
Key Design Features
- Upper & Shroud: A sleek, completely matte black elasticised spandex shroud covering the inner laces, secured with a tonal zipper closure.
- Mudguard & Overlays: A textured black synthetic leather mudguard lines the base, housing tonal panels embossed with subtle reflective ventilation holes.
- Branding: A small, embroidered black Nike Swoosh sits subtly on the lateral side near the collar.
- Sole Unit: A durable black Pylon foam midsole loaded with visible, signature encapsulated Max Air cushioning units in the heel and forefoot
